Qatar Chemical Company Ltd. (Q-Chem) is a Qatari company owned by Mesaieed Petrochemical Holding Company Q.S.C. (MPHC), Chevron Phillips Chemical International Qatar Holdings LLC (Chevron Phillips Chemical Qatar), and Qatar Petroleum (QP). The plant began commercial operations in 2004.

MPHC is majority owned by QP. The Q-Chem facility is a world class integrated petrochemical plant, producing high-density and medium-density polyethylene (HDPE & MDPE), 1-hexene and other products, using state-of-the-art technology provided by Chevron Phillips Chemical, a major integrated producer of chemicals and plastics.

Q-Chem II is a joint venture between MPHC 49, Chevron Phillips Chemical Qatar, and QP 2. The plant began commercial operations in 2010 and has raised the Q-Chem HDPE production capacity by 77 percent from 453,000 MTA to 803,000 MTA to meet the increasing demand of customers in Asia, Europe and Africa.

Mannai Energy was awarded the QCHEM I & II contract for maintenance of all HVAC Units. Mannai Energy provides all aspects of services associated with the management, operations and maintenance services.

SCOPE

The scope of services includes routine/preventive maintenance, corrective/breakdown maintenance, cleaning, servicing, modification and /or improvements, installation, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, overhauling and assembling of HVAC equipment and all related technical and administrative services.
